Listing Suggestions
The listing suggestions feature allows visitors to the website to submit suggestions to any of the listings.
This feature is useful for scenarios like the following examples:
- Receiving suggestions for incorrect phone numbers or address data on listings
- Receiving suggestions that a company listed on the website has gone out of business
Listing claim
The listing claims feature allows visitors to your website to claim a listing.
- Visitors/users must be logged in first to claim the listing.
- When a claim request is submitted, the administrator will receive an email.
- The Administrator may then contact the user to confirm the claim and set up the listing under the requested membership.
An example of when listing claims may be useful, is in the scenario where an administrator imports or manually adds listing to the website, the owner of the business may come along and eventually claim the pre-existing listing.
PDF Export
LekkiDirectory.Com has a built in feature to export listings to a downloadable PDF file.
The PDF file is automatically generated based on the information that is entered for the listing. This generally includes the listing title, logo, description, address and custom fields.
vCard
vCard is a file format standard for electronic business cards. vCards are often exchanged in email messages as a way to exchange contact information.
The vCard content is created automatically by the script using the information that is entered for the listing.
Document Gallery
Listings may have a documents gallery which allows the listing owner to upload files to their listing which may be downloaded by visitors. Eg fliers, product list, price, etc.
When visitors browse the listing a link is visible which when clicked will display a list of the files the listing owner has uploaded. By default the files types PDF, DOC, and TXT are allowed.
Image Gallery
Listings can have an image gallery. The image gallery is used for other images other than the listings logo.
When an image is added to a listing image gallery, the image is automatically re-sized according to the image gallery settings. A thumbnail version of the image is also generated. The size of the thumbnail is also based on the image gallery settings.
